This is a close-up of the RF connection to HI-Q quick disconnect.   The origninal installation used
a BNC bulkhead connector mounted on an aluminum bracket, to make the connection between
the antenna jumper and the RF cable that connects to the TS-480HX. This didn't work. The
BNC connectors eventually fail and have to be replaced about every six months. The new plan is
to go back to the good old UHF bulkhead and PL-259 connectors.
